Yves Ramette is one of the greatest French symphonists of the XXth century. Having studied with Arthur Honegger, Yves Ramette composed numerous works in the French post-romantic tradition, including six symphonies performed in various countries by famous conductors such as Daniel Sternefeld, Eduard van Beinum and Eugène Bigot. His output also includes many organ and piano pieces, as well as several chamber and vocal compositions.
